QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Hi can you confirm the power source for this item please

    Mains-power.

  • Hi, Can a gem holder be added to the microscope like: Jewel clamp tweezer stone Do you sell anything like that at your store. I would appreciate a response as soon as possible. Kind regards.

    A stone-holder is included.

  • Hi the GA sell ones which are a lot more expensive, is the quality comparable?

The short answer is we have never had one of these to compare so we simply do not know.

The long answer (having evaluated several microscopes) is that the more expensive models are often easier to use for gemstones, having more elaborate mechanisms to hold and turn the stone. But the optical quality can be just the same.

But please be aware, we cannot comment on the GA microscope.

  • Hello, can we use this Gemmological microscope on Rough Diamond

Yes, you can use a microscope with anything.  Though you might be limited as to what you can see inside a rough diamond, if your sample is mostly opaque.
