Open the handle (like split legs). Remove the cord. You can wear it around the neck for hands-free operation - see picture...and also please see "Instructions".

Please note, if you buy between 1 and 9 of these, batteries are included. If you buy 10 or more, then is an automatic discount, but batteries are not included.

Limited quantity (see above for the quantity in stock) - once these are gone, there are no more.

{Applications / Quality}

As a hand reader it's good for reading anything, books, magazines, forms, timetables. As a hands-free magnifier these are typically used for crafts such as sewing, beading, knitting etc. Here in the office, Beth (in the photo) didn't have her knitting with her so I took a photograph of her reading a magazine - for crafts it would be more comfortable to sit at a table and position the magnifier higher up on the chest.

A use that appeals to me is map reading in the car, for a quick look at the map you use it as a handheld magnifier, if you need it ready and at the correct reading distance for a long complicated route, wear it around the neck (and, of course, it has a light for night time).

In one arm are the batteries, insert two size AAA.

You must clip the cord to the inside of the arms near the switch and lens. If you clip the cord anywhere else it won't rest on your chest, it will just fall flat and you'll say, "Eh? What's the point of that?".

In the other arm is a tightly-wound cord. Removed the cord, unwind it, adjust the length so that the two split arms rest comfortably on your chest. If it's too high it will seem if it's nearly touching your chin and will be uncomfortable, if it's too low it seem as if it's nearly on your tummy and will be uncomfortable, find the position on your chest that is comfortable.
