{Summary}
Loupe, 10X magnficiation, 12mm diameter lens, 4-element (that's better than a triplet, which is 3-element)
Stunning quality lens (only the Zeiss is better), externally really tiny - some like that (easy to carry in the pocket), some don't like that (easy to lose).

Externally, what does this look like compared with other 10X12 loupes? Click on the picture then click on the picture of the selection of loupes - the lenses are all the same size (to within 1mm) but the casings and overall sizes are different.

{Applications / Quality}
Generally, loupes are used by jewellers and antiques traders for looking at very small marks; by horologists and engineers for inspecting very small parts; by stamp and coin dealers; as a basic field instrument for biologists and geologists.

This is one of our six best loupes, see detailed review. This is my personal favourite, I keep one on my keyring which is on a clip on my belt (never keep a loupe in a pocket jangling with keys, it gets destroyed!).
