Summary

About 4X magnification, 30mm diameter lens, folds into a hard plastic case

Comments

Fits neatly in the pocket due its relatively small size (for a reading magnifier), and also due to it's small size it's (relatively) high magnification.

I call these "the Russian magnifiers." Diana (who works here) is Russian-speaking and asked her to translate the Russian on the magnifier. It says the magnifier is made of plastic. Presumably that is something to celebrate in Russia.

Technical
