Comments

Stunning quality lens (this really is on a par with Zeiss, though the lens is slightly smaller).

It has a 4-element lens, i.e. four lenses cemented on top of each other, each to correct for distortion and colour - that's better than a triplet, which has 3-elements.

This is one that I carry myself, in my pocket, because it is so small an unobtrusive, and I really don't need large lens for looking at very tiny objects.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • What does the extra lens in the 4-element loupe add if you compare it with a triplet loupe? Is the 4 element loupe a better type of loupe to inspect gems and diamonds or does the triplet loupe preform a better job?

Yes a 4-element lens is better quality than a 3-element (triplet) lens.
