Details

Power supply (mains adaptor) to use your product on mains instead of battery.

This is a good quality power supply. We find that 'cheap' power supplies simply do not work with most diamond and gem testers (the voltage might be 'correct' but it will not be stable).

The output can be set from 4.5v to 12v to match the the product (the input is always 240v, UK mains).

Check the voltage

If you are buying this with a product, we will set it up for you with the correct voltage, correct connector and correct polarity.

If you are buying this on its own (not with a product) but it's for something you originally bought from us - tell us what it's for! Then we will set it up for you with the correct voltage, correct connector and correct polarity.

If you buy it on its own (not with a product) and don't tell us what it is for, we'll leave it to you to set up. Be aware that if you set it to too low a voltage your product will not work; if you set it to too high a voltage (or the wrong polarity) you could "melt" the product and the power supply, no returns accepted.

THIS IS NOT A USB POWER SUPPLY!  For USB all you need is a USB cable, then plug it into any computer, powerbank, USB socket or USB mains adaptor.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  • What I can test with such a tool

You can’t “test” anything with this, it’s a power supply.
